turkey
Cooking a turkey is not as hard as it seems, but there are a few things you need to do to make sure it is cooked properly. The first step is to thaw the bird thoroughly before cooking. You can either thaw it in the refrigerator or use the microwave. Then, place the turkey in a roasting pan and rub with butter or margarine. Season with salt, pepper, and any other desired herbs or spices. Bake at 325 degrees for about 3 hours (or until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees). Make sure to baste the turkey every 30 minutes or so while baking. Finally, let the bird rest for about 15 minutes before carving. Enjoy!
