Do you want to make a huge burrito, but don’t have the time or space? Do you want to make a burrito that is the size of your head? Then this recipe is for you! The Chi Chi’s El Grande Burrito will give you that satisfying burrito feeling without taking up too much space on your plate. The best part is that it’s easy to make and takes less time than it takes to watch a movie (depending on how long your movie is). Let’s get started!

Ingredient

  • 1 lb. ground beef

  • 1-1/4 cup TACO BELL® Thick & Chunky Salsa

  • 1 green pepper, chopped

  • 2/3 cup water

  • 1 cup instant white rice, uncooked

  • 1 cup TACO BELL® Refried Beans, warmed

  • 6 flour tortillas (10 inch)

  • 1-1/2 cups KRAFT Mexican Style Finely Shredded Four Cheese

  • 1-1/2 cups shredded lettuce

  • 2 tomatoes, chopped

  • 1/3 cup sour cream

Instrucion

  • The meat should be browned in a large skillet over medium heat before being drained. Mix in the salsa, peppers, and water using a spoon. Bring to a rolling boil. Mix in the rice, then cover. Simmer over a low heat for five minutes.
  • The meat combination, cheese, lettuce, and tomatoes are layered on top of the beans that are spread down the centers of the tortillas.
  • After you have folded in opposite edges of each tortilla, roll it up burrito-style. Include some sour cream on the side.

Note

  • Put the ground beef in the compartment of the refrigerator that is the coldest. Most of the time, you’ll find this item on one of the lower shelves in the refrigerator’s back corner. After purchasing ground beef, it should be frozen after being tightly packaged and utilized within one to two days, at the latest. If the original packaging has been mutilated in any way, it is imperative that the meat be rewrapped. Place the frozen food item on the lowest shelf possible in the refrigerator before beginning the defrosting process. This will prevent any drips from contaminating other meals.
